The Minster

Beverley Renaissance Partnership brings together over thirty private, voluntary and public sector organisations. Their agreed aim is to develop and sustain Beverley and its surrounding area for residents, visitors and businesses, whilst respecting the natural and built environment in order to cherish the town's ancient past.

There's a lot going on in 2012, especially in terms of changing the physical structure of the town, including the start of the Southern relief road and delivery of the Integrated Transport Plan, further building on Flemingate as a mixed use site, re-paving of the North Bar pedestrian area, renovation of the War Memorial Hall and tendering of the Grovehill site for re-development.

Other events during the year will include the Olympic Torch Relay, the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and a wide range of other attractions for visitors and residents alike, such as Armed Forces day, the Food and Folk festivals, Literary and Blues days, puppets, barges and boats, music and arts performances, and Beverley races.
The Partnership is fully inclusive, and welcomes organisations looking to become members if they wish to work strategically and operationally using their resources to further the development of Beverley and its surrounding areas.

Through its membership, the Partnership has completed a Town Plan, from which specific programmes and projects will evolve.
